I'm looking for an analytical method for slope stability that could give as answer the maximum load on the crest of a slope. I found the closed-form solution given by Sokolovsky (1954), based on plasticity method. According to my understanding this solution can be used for a weightless slope (which suits me) with homogeneous cohesion-friction soils and an inclined load on the slope's crest. The solution is given by solving three equations simultaneously.
Although I've got those equations in a paper, I am not very if they are rigth and also how to use them. I was wondering if someone has an example (calculations) using this solution or somtehing similar.

Best Regards
David Oliveira
