Please, if any one knows the drivation of the equation of improvement factor "settlement of unimproved ground to settlement of improved ground by stone columns", please send it to me. The equation is:
n=1+(Ac/A)[(1/(Ka.(1-Ac/A))-1]
where, Ac is the area of column, A is the total area of column and soil, and Ka is the active coefficient of column material.
