I am currently researching a project on the reuse of piles. I am interested in using new piles with old piles, and in order to combat differental settlement, a system has to be integrated with them. I proposed using a shear wall type structure but there is no information on the subject and i was wondering if anybody out there has any information on this area. Thanks very much.
