Does any one operate Soilmec CM48 rigs?
if so, could you chare some knowledge regarding safety - particularly with regards to de-rigging the machine ready for transporting - the main winch ropes have to be stowed on top of the folded mast - when the operatives have to get the ropes up there, they are vulnerable to the risk of injury from falling as there is no fixing point for a fall arrest harness - does any one have an alternative method or a safety tip for this specific operation?
