Anybody can give me some literature on how to find an equivalent solution of calculating the rate of settlement of the ground under loading by adopting an equivalent permeability value, etc. for a vertical drain. I need this because I have a finite element software to calculate the rate of settlement of the soil but without the provision of vertical drain installation module. Thanks
