Hi! What is the right damage criteria for buildings placed on hard rock. I know the standars say about 70 mm/s, but does anyone have knowlegde and experience around this? I would like to get as much data as poosible from projects where vibration damage are caused by blasting in hard rock areas. Data like spesific charge, distanse, type of rock, type of damage in buildings etc.

Damage criteria can not be chosen without understanding the vibration situation (type of structure, building and foundation situation), resonance frequency of building and/or ground etc.
