What do you mean by "misled"?
Now that you realised you have been misled, is it necessary to discuss further?
What kind of misleading you were facing? Without knowing that, it difficult to say how to prevent it from reoccurring!
e.g. If SPT the blow count exceeding 50 in sand and gravel layers, the bearing capacity shall be extremely high and suitable for almost any kind of foundations. However, it may be simply caused by a pebble/boulder. This is a misleading, in order to avoid this, you are suggested to use cone tip instead of circlar open tip.
Good for you. Jimmy
