Dear Mr. Wong, Can you please suggest how should I do the pore pressure variation? If I model it as ini pp 3000 var 0 -500, this is causing collapse of tunnel at 100% relaxation. Thanks

Hi Kumar
From the outset of your description, without actually knowing the geomechanical properties of your ground, apparently it can make sence that your tunnel "collapses" because of the 100% relaxation. Displacements can naturally be very high. You may need to do some sensitivity analysis to get a more realistic relaxation before you place the lining. Determine a suitable ground support reaction point provides a good picture in determining reasonable displacements, stress relaxation and therefore support loads.
