Can anyone enlighten me as to the most recent correlation between the blowcount from a Dynamic Probe (Heavy) and the SPT "N" value or even if there is any published correlations with shear strength? I appreciate a correlation to shear strength would be tentative, but for this application any help, would be appreciated.

The only correlation I know of is:
Dynamic Probe "N" for 300mm = 1.5 x SPT "N" for 300mm
