Greetings Geo Professionals, I am curious to know what software programs folks in the private sector are using to analyze the lateral response of piles. We are looking to find a Windows XP friendly software program. Your responses will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Robert Kraig

We have been using a great programme called ALP developed and supported by Oasys (the software development division of Arup, UK). It allows you to specift three types of models, elastic as well as generated p-y as well as specified p-y curves. A very intuitive programme originally developed under DOS and as of one year ago redesigned to work on Windows XP etc.
We believe it is by far the most advanced programme available yet. You may be able to find it on
