Ladies and Gentlemen,
Once again, I need the help of German-speaking engineers and scholars. I am trying to differentiate "Gebrigsdruck", "Gebirgsstützdruck" and "Gebirgsstützkraft". If anybody is able to offer a translation of these three terms into English, I would be very grateful. I would be even more grateful for an explanation of the terms, in either German or English, in addition to the translation.

Alan,
Would like to offer the following comments for your consideration:
1. “Gebirge” is usually translated into “rock” (rock mass or mountain), thus does not mean a single rock block. “Gebirgsdruck” is the pressure from a rock mass, i.e. “rock pressure”.
2. Stütze means “support”. Thus, “Gebürgsstützdruck” is the pressure against a supporting wall; maybe you can use: “rock support pressure” (or pressure acting agains support structure).
3. “Kraft” is of course “force” and equivalent to above 2., would be “rock support force” (or force acting against support structure)
