Is anyone familiar with weight soundings (old Swedish dynamic cone penetration test method, still used in Baltic countries)?
I received results (number of halfturns, with weight placed) in a graph and I would like to use the results for determining compressibility properties of the soils. If possible I woould also like to determine shear strength properties.

am doing the correlation of number of half turns of SWS with shear strength of clay soil for my masters research program in Addis Ababa University. So when i reach on conclussion with in a few month, i will inform you.
